9 Places To Grocery Shop From Home

9 Places To Grocery Shop From Home

Now more than ever people are looking for places to shop from home. As concern about the Coronavirus spreads people are looking to shelter in place as much as possible. In fact if you are asked to quarintine you may have no other option!

I’ve been ordering my groceries online for some time. It’s convient and I like convience. I’ve included 9 different stores I have used in the past and trust. I hope that this list helps you!

9 Stores To Grocery Shop From Home

Amazon Pantry

Amazon Pantry, this one seems fairly obvious as almost everyone has heard of Amazon.

I’m not sure how many people realize the large amount of groceries that you can receive from Amazon pantry.

Amazon boosted their ability to offer healthy foods by requiring Whole Foods. you can find a variety of healthy pantry staples on Amazon and if you’re living in a city you can even get fresh food delivered within two hours.

Boxed.com

If you are a fan of warehouse stores like Costco or Sam’s Club but want to avoid crowds, then boxed.com is probably the store for you.

Boxed.com offers large quantities of items in the same way that Costco and Sam’s Club do, except without the warehouse fee. You can find deals on groceries and household goods like paper towels and toilet paper as well as office supplies and more.

Orders over $49 are free to ship and I’ve always had a good experience ordering from boxed. I recommend Boxed.com especially if you are buying for a large family.

You can get $15 off your first order through my refferal link: Shop Boxed.com

Walmart Grocery

Walmart Grocery Pickup is lower on the list because you have to pick up the groceries, but you don’t have to leave your car.

You can order fresh groceries, and household staples. Walmart does the shopping and loads your car for FREE.

Here is my refferal link to say you $10 on your first order.

Thrive Market

Thrive Market is like an online health food store. They offer everything from fresh meat to canned goods.

The only area in which they lack is fresh fruit and vegetables. Although you can still find freeze dried and canned fruit and vegetables.

Thrive Market does require a membership fee but the savings is worth it in my opinion. It’s also a huge benefit if you don’t have a health food store near you.

You can get 25% off your first order through my refferal link here: SHOP THRIVE.

Misfits Market

Misfits Market really delivers when it comes to fresh produce weekly or biweekly.

They were the first company I had ever come across that was selling “misfit” produce. The concept of food waste was not new to me but this company certainly helped propel me into a whole new understanding of how large a problem it is.

I’ve been a customer of Misfit‘s market for well over a year. Their customer service is amazing and anytime I have a problem they’re quick to solve it. They really care about eliminating food waste by purchasing surplus food from farmers who can’t sell it or from grocery stores whom have deemed the product too ugly for some reason or another.

While they are working on curating more than just produce waste, you probably aren’t getting all of your grocery shopping done with Misfits Market. They also only offer customized boxes to some customers until they have perfected their system.

I like Misfit’s Market because it’s gotten me to try things I would have never tried before. I have grown leaps and bounds as a home cook and my family is eating much healthier as a result.

If your intrested in this company I highly recommend them. You can get 25% off your first order with the coupon code: COOKWME-VD4VIB

Imperfect Foods

Imperfect Foods also delivers produce that has been rejected by grocery stores for one reason or another. They also carry a large variety of surplus food besides produce.

I’m able to purchase meat, grains and snacks- basically my whole grocery list from Imperfect Foods.

Imperfect Foods is also highly customizable where Misfits Market is still working on that process. If you are looking for a delivery service with produce that is highly customizable- this is the one I would suggest you go with.

Butcherbox

Butcherbox is a subscription service that offers meat delivery on a four or six-week basis.  they have several different options when it comes to your box. You can order a prepackaged selection or you can customize your own. The meat in the Butcherbox is 100% grass fed Beef,  organic free-range chicken and Heritage breed pork.

Grove

While Grove doesn’t sell food it is a great place to stock up on household and personal goods. Grove focuses on all natural and healthy products for your family. You can even find products for your pet and stock up on beauty supplies at Grove.

Grove offers a great selection and if you are a new customer you can pick up a FREE Home Bundle with your first purchase of $20+

MightyNest

Similarly to Grove you can’t buy food from MightyNest but you can stock up on supplies for your kitchen and bathroom. They have fantastic deals on all natural health and wellness items.

They have a large selection and you can subscribe to your favorite items so that you never run out.

Shipt

This isn’t a grocery store but a delivery service. I wanted to include it as an option as well because there are just some things you can’t get anywhere else on this list like milk and eggs- unless you use Walmart Grocery.

Shipt requires a yearly membership but I have actually found it very useful. I have used it for situations where my kids were sick and needed medicine and I needed groceries. I also use it for the convience of just not having to go to the store and saving that time and energy.

Here is a refferal link for $50 off a yearly membership: SHOP SHIPT
