Free Reading Success Charts and Certificates

Encourage your child to read with this free printable reading success chart. It includes 3 versions of the chart in blue pink and green and four certificates of achievement. We use our success charts by laminating and checking off each time Boober reads a book. When he has filled in all the circles on the chart (there are eight) then he gets a certificate which he can redeem for a special treat or 20 minutes of screen time.

My son is a reluctant reader so screen time with his Nintendo DS is something he really enjoys. I am able to encourage reading by giving him a goal he wants to obtain. I also felt like 8 was a number of books that was significant enough for early readers to warrant celebrating, but not so much that it overwhelmed him.
