My son Boober loves to spend time with me in the kitchen. I think its important to have him in there with me as well. We spend time making simple recipes, testing, snacking, stirring and laughing. It’s a great place for us to bond and I really think it’s made my relationship with my son stronger.

Here is a new recipe we were experimenting with over the weekend based on a recipe I found in Good Housekeeping. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

You’ll need:

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup of frozen or fresh Blueberries
  • Graham Crackers, about 3 squares
  • 1 tbsp Cheesecake pudding mix (you may want more depending on taste)
  • 1/2 cup Ice
  • Whipped Cream

Take all of your ingredients expect the whipped cream and blend on high until combined and smooth. Pour into a glass, top with whipped cream and enjoy! How easy is that? And it’s delicious! Boober and I disagreed on the level of cheesecake flavor, I personally think 1 1/2 tbsp of pudding mix does the trick. Have fun experimenting in the kitchen with your little one!

  2. This sounds absolutely delicious, and something we would be able to make during our Kids and a mom in the Kitchen time.
I would ask you to stop by and share on my linky, but I have put it on hold for the rest of the summer as we haven’t really been doing any schooling. I have pinned your post though, and if we make it, I will be sure to link back to your blog.
    Thanks for sharing.
