Our All About Me Preschool Unit Study

Our weekly theme for next week will be “All About Me”. Here are our plans for both my son, the preschooler, and my daughter, the toddler. You are welcome to follow along with us, and if you do please comment below!

Both kids will be doing the following things together:

Singing this Circle Time song:

Head, shoulders, knees, and toes,
Knees and toes.

And eyes, and ears, and mouth,
And nose.

Eating these snacks or drinking these drinks:

This week I will ask the kiddos what their favorite foods are and serve them those items. With children this age it tends to change every other day so best to ask them.

Doing These Activities:

Tracing hands

What you need:

Plain white paper

Black Sharpie

Crayons

What you do:

1. Trace your child’s hand for them

2. Allow your child to color their hand with crayons.

Shadow Tracing

What you need:

To be outdoors with chalk!

Afternoon or early morning are the better times to get good long shadows, the closer to noon the shorter your shadow will be. Trace your childs shadow in chalk and then let them color it in however they like!
